Beginning May 2, AdWords caused some hiccups to users who tried to log in their accounts. At WebmasterWorld Forums users have complained about being automatically logged out to running in a painfully slow speed. What made matters worse was, there was no notice to users about the temporary snag. Later, a Google representative clarified matters by saying:

When issues like this occur, they typically occur for a very small percentage of all advertisers. In light of this an 'alert' message in all accounts (including those of the majority who are not experiencing the issue) might prove to be unnecessarily alarming – and not taken kindly. Further, it's not a matter of just a few moment's work to pinpoint only those accounts affected and send an appropriate message – meaning that the alert could actually arrive after the issue had been resolved.

Users from varied countries like UK, Spain and Germany experienced the thankfully, short-lived crisis. Shows the Google juggernaut isn't perfect after all.
