Many Google AdSense users were confused on reading the list of AdSense guidelines and policies that ensured them longevity and success in the ad serving program.

Users are growing more distraught with the tough stand taken by AdSense. Soullavee wrote: "Apparently Google doesn't believe in human errors when it comes to their precious ads, and they don't believe in warnings and rectification of a mistake, they just cut you off, and let me remind you again, it was over TWO clicks, two clicks would probably pay me 10c if that and when i told Google that it doesn't make sense i was told again "TOO BAD" Google should implement some sort of Warning stage and give us an opportunity to try and fix a mistake , even real criminals sometimes get a second chance."

To their defense, Mike Deeringer, AdSense Publisher Support says, "we've found that publishers have placed their ad units so close to interactive (clickable) content that users accidentally click on the ads instead of the site content. While this type of ad placement may not inherently violate our program policies, it could increase the risk of invalid clicks being generated on the ads, which would be in violation of our policies."
