Ask has announced the launch of the new PPC platform on 2nd October. The news came in the limelight after a blog posted at SearchEngineWatch.

The ASL 2.0 will bring with it major improvements in cost and budget controls, and other benefits. Ask’s new PPC system is much more improved on its reporting system, as compared to the current version. Reporting data will now be available in more real time basis. The real billable clicks will get updated hourly. The new platform will be structured in Account-Campaign-Ads-Keywords, instead of the current format of Account-Campaign-Listing. With the new system, advertisers can spread the advertising budget evenly on a daily basis. Moreover, with the addition of average positioning information, it will be helpful to determine how much to bid.
