As seen on Webmaster World, websites that were previously banned from Google have now been re-included.

These Webmasters did not even tread on the usual route of filling up the required Reinclusion Request Form. Webmasters became aware of the unexpected behavior when one Webmaster noted, “ One of my sites has been banned from the index (for sure) and has just been re-included. It received the ban about the time that many other members reported problems with sites that included directories.”

The question remains on whether sites have been considered for re-inclusion after webmasters tackled the problem they were first booted off Google from. Like one Webmaster puts it, "It does depend on the nature of the ban, I think; some sites will eventually find their way back once the 'problem' has gone and the dust has settled. For example, if the issue was a bad neighbourhood issue, and the 'leader' had given up and closed up shop, there's no reason the peripheral sites wouldn't find their way back in. 'On site' problems wouldn't be so easy. If you are saying the banned site got back without the problem being removed, that would be big news ;)"
