Canadians Not Welcome in Google Advertising Professionals Program
September 21st, 2006 | 702 Views RSS Feed
Google has shockingly excluded Canadians from qualifying for the Google Advertising Professionals program. The fact has been reported in a Search Engine Watch forums thread. A Canadian is particularly upset about this and has written "Why are non-US and non-EMEA countries excluded from becoming a Qualfied Company? I have no idea, but for whatever reason, it wasn't simply an oversight. I wouldn't have thought that Canadian advertisers would have been considered small enough fish that they'd chose to ignore all of them!"
It surely is a matter of concern since the most well-known experts are based in Canada and the Canadians expect apology and an explanation from Google.
