The Google Analytics Blog has mad a recent announcement about Importing goals into AdWords. The advertisers can now import the Google Analytics Goals and Transactions into AdWords for CPA bidding, conversion and tracking purposes.

Apart from CPA bidding, the benefit of Import feature is that it will let you track the ROI of the campaign and optimize the account for direct conversions inside the AdWords interface. This single move will however simplify the overall conversion tracking process.

Google Informs AdWords Customers About the $20 Million Settlement

In April, Google has reportedly agreed to pay $20 million to settle the AdWords case. The case was over the daily budget and how many advertisers who have exceeded their budget by 120% on occasions.

A Google's representative stated, "Google believes the claims are without merit, but we are pleased to have the litigation behind us and to move forward with our business objectives."

According to Micheal Orey of Business Week, by the beginning of next month, Google is planning to open up trademark keywords to AdWords advertisers. It will allow companies to bid on brand names of their competition and lead in the SERPs over branded product, service and company names.

A list of the countries and regions has been released by Google, where they will not investigate the use of trademarked keywords.

Jeremy Schoemaker of ShoeMoney has sued a Google employee, who owns a website that uses the patented keyword “ShoeMoney” of the company. The keyword is used by the employee on his AdWords ad campaign for directing the traffic on a site – myincentivewebsite.com

An Updated Conversion Metrics Coming Up With AdWord's New Interface

You must have observed Google AdWords slowly expanding the beta version of its new interface. Continuing the trend, Google has now introduced the beta interface with a new way of viewing conversions.

At present, we can only see 1-per-click conversion at AdWords interface, which means if a customers clicks on the ad, makes a purchase in single day and then comes back to make purchase another day without clicking the ad.
