Feedburner To Serve Google AdSense Units On RSS Feeds
April 30th, 2008 | 898 Views RSS Feed
Since the day, Google acquired Feedburner, there had been talks about assimilation of AdSense into Feedburner, so as to provide AdSense units on RSS Feeds. We had informed our readers last year about this program's initiation. However, according to the official Feedburner Blog Feedburner will now be serving Google AdSense units on RSS Feeds, as being one part of the complete integration of Feedburner into Google application and services. The details of the integration procedure as of now have not been disclosed, but it is for certain, such a merger would definitely impact both Feedburner and AdSense advertisers.
From next week onwards, Feedburner users can also log onto their existing Feedburner accounts through their Gmail accounts. Users who do not have a Gmail account or who do not wish to use their Gmail account for Feedburner will also be able to direct their feeds away from Feedburner.
Most people prefer their RSS feeds to be advertisement free and with the integration of Google AdSense with Feedburner, users are not left with too many options I guess!
