FeedBurner TotalStats and MyBrand Free For All!
July 4th, 2007 | 1,242 Views RSS Feed
Just a month ago, Google made big news when they purchased FeedBurner for a cool $100 million.
The bigger news, after Google's acquisition of FeedBurner, is announcement that FeedBurner TotalStats and MyBrand is absolutely free for all its users. Initially, the applications were partially free as users who took advantage of some of its advanced features paid a monthly package of $3-$14. Old users need to re-activate these services so as to take advantage of its free services.
Old FeedBurner Stats PRO users will not be charged for June 2007 and beyond. Besides, after re-activating either of these features or services, you'll notice a nifty new "PRO" badge next to your feed(s) on My Feeds page.
To get started with MyBrand, sign into FeedBurner, click the "My Account" link in the upper left-hand corner, and then click "MyBrand". Nota Bene: You must be comfortable playing around with DNS entries and own the rights to the domain whose DNS entries you'll be playing around with in order to successfully activate MyBrand.
FeedBurner has over 450,000 users. And now with the new FREEdom, surely numbers will rise.
