We recenty heard about Google launching AdSense for Audio.  According to Reuters Google has confirmed this and Google Audio Ads will be put up for public test by the end of 2006. This was also confirmed by Google spokesperson , Michael Mayzel.  

Google had taken a bold step into radio when it acquired dMarc Broadcasting Inc. this year. According to  Google Chief Executive Eric Schmidt,  investment in radio advertising in course of time can grow and will be able to include about 1000 employees of Google in sales, operations and engineering.   Bill Figenshu, chief operating officer of Softwave Media Exchange Inc. said “ Google is hiring salespeople in most major markets and they're hiring sales people to sell radio. They're paying about 50 percent more than a typical radio sales person might make.”
