Google Launches Toolbar v2 For Firefox Users

Google has come out with yet another tool for the firefox fans. Toolbar v2, which is recently launched is Windows, Mac, and Linux compatible and will be available in 16 odd languages. Quite interesting. This beta version of Google Toolbar v2 comprise of feed integration with the Google Personalized Homepage and several other feed readers.

The usage of Toolbar v2 will make the search results better because of the addition of previous queries, spelling corrections, and suggestions for popular choices. And as for the Gmail lovers, no more copying and pasting email addresses will be required, as they would be provided with the mailto:links in Firefox open a compose window in Gmail. Further more, a Safe Browsing extension into the Toolbar is introduced which would alert you time and again if any page tries to steal the confidential information. All this is included in the new toolbar, so do not waste any time and explore its functions.

It is also indicated that the IE Toolbar 4 features and Toolbar v2 features completely vary from each other. The features of the two vary, as the requirements of the Firefox and IE users doesn't match. However, may be in near future some new features might be added to both the versions. Till then, enjoy the new Toolbar v2.
