Google To Expand Print Ad Program: Trials Successful

Satisfied with initial test involving nearly 100 advertisers and 66 newspapers for the Newspaper Ad program, Google has geared up to expand the pilot program next year. Google aims at providing financial support to newspapers through its ad program that enables business enterprises to Click to Google and buy Google ad space in the newspapers.

As of now, the online giant has completed two months trial and would complete another month trial. Soon after the trial, Goolge will revise the program in co-operation with some leading newspapers including the New York Times, the Washington Post, the Tribune, Hearst and the New Heaven Register.

Washington Post reports that Google is not taking commissions on the deals for the time being. It thinks to determine its commissions on the deal very soon.
