Matt Cutts Reveals His Search Stats For 2006

Matt Cutts has come up with the yearly search stats of his blog. He used Google Analytics to count total number of visitors to his blog. Cutt claims he has nearly 1.7 million visitors and 2.9 million page views by the end of 2006. Of them, one fourth of the visitors came directly to Matt Cutts' site without referring any link, one third reach via Google and two percent of traffic came from Digg.
One of the interesting aspects of Cutts' search stats for 2006 is that more than 18 percent of traffic is non-English browers. It shows his popularity in the SEO blogs community. A great number of visitors used different keywords other than Matt Cutts to reach his blog. Some of these popular keywords are bigdaddy, seo blog, google update and reinclusion request.
Matt Cutts blog registered more number of referral traffic from Bloglines than Yahoo! figuring 22636 visits and 17591 visits respectively. The Search Engine Watch provided 15916 visits, MSN 13554 visits and Ask sent 820 visits.
