March 15th, 2006 | 595 Views RSS Feed
MSN is said to launch its Click to call service soon. This act by Microsoft is taken to mark their place as leaders in the search engine technology. The long term plans of Microsoft to compete with the already existing leaders Google and Yahoo! in the search engine market seems to be proving true. David Cole, Microsoft SVP and head of MSN in his statement conveyed that "Make no mistake, Windows Live is our strategic bet to change the game and win, while we grow and drive revenue with MSN.com"
The main function of the click to call service of Windows Live Search will be to connect the users to various businesses through web-based calls by simply clicking on the MSN search links. However, Microsoft plan to integrate this unique feature into the MSN Adcenter, it might be possible that they use a third-party PPC engine as an added feature.
