New iPhone Application By Google!
December 6th, 2007 | 1,220 Views RSS Feed
Recently, Google announced the release of a new application for iPhone technology. This new application will integrate different services of iPhone into a singe interface. With this application, it will be easier for iPhone users to find, use and switch between Google search, Gmail, Calender, Reader and many more interfaces. iPhone users can avail the benefit of this application by simply clicking to http://www.google.com.
For developing this new application interface, Google is taking help of browser technologies, such as AJAX. It was AJAX only that was used to develop Gmail and Google Maps. As put by Google authorities, "In supporting these advances in web technology, the iPhone's Safari browser not only delivers an excellent mobile Internet experience; it enabled our product and engineering teams to create an optimal Google experience on a mobile device."
The reason behind the development of this new application for iPhone technology is to provide various users with easy and fast access to information, no matter where they are. This application will be device-independent, and the Google team is also working to develop new mobile technologies that are faster, easier to use, and available on more devices. Earlier, Google developed My Location, which is a Google Maps for mobile feature that also tells users about their location directly on the map with or without GPS.
No doubt in the fact that the new iPhone technology application will be a hit amongst iPhone users.
