New version of AdWords API released by Google

Everyone possess some hobby or the other. It seems Google has made a hobby out of releasing updates and newer versions of their services almost every other day. Yesterday, Google announced the release of AdWords API Ver.12, which includes these new features:

Conversion optimizer support: Enables an advertiser to enable conversion optimizer, so that he pays only when the click on his advertisement leads to a conversion.

CPC bidding for placement targeted advertisements: The advertiser can use this feature from, giving him the leverage to pay only when a user clicks on the advertiser's placement-targeted advertisement.

Expanded code sample library: Google has made an enormous update in its code sample library, by releasing 140 new code samples. And an additional 20 in 7 different programming languages.

A word of caution for the users currently operating on AdWords API Ver.11. This previous version will be out of commission on 26 July 2008. Therefore, it is recommended that, upgrade to the newer version be accomplished as soon as possible.
