At SES Chicago, Danny Sullivan had a pleasant surprise for the audience. Danny announced that Third Door Media, the company behind Search Engine Land will be coming up with Search Marketing Expo, new search engine marketing conference in June, 2007.

Search Marketing Expo or SMX as it is being called will have its first event in Seattle on June 4 & 5th 2007 at the Bell Harbor Conference center. The inaugral show will be geared toward advanced search marketers who want to hear about the latest search marketing techniques for both organic and paid placement.
