The report indicates that Yahoo! is growing at a faster pace than Google. In December 2006 3.035 billion searches were done on Google, showing an increase of 22.6% from last year. This figure stands at 1.412 billion searches for Yahoo!, an increase by 30.1% from December 2005. In the last year Google got 560 million users more compared to 330 million users acquired by Yahoo!.
