According to a article on FORTUNE , Yahoo! is again in talks with Time Warner for buying America Online. However a source close to Yahoo! has denied it. A spokesman of Time warner said, "Time Warner has a new strategy for AOL and is not contemplating any deals”. Merger of Yahoo-AOL will definitely be a boost for Yahoo! CEO Terry Semel. As last year Google was able to gain 5% stake worth $1 billion in AOL and became its exclusive Internet search provider. Some of likeliest move of Yahoo! can be to buy AOL. Yahoo! can also be bought by Microsoft or it can merge with e-Bay. Last action can be monetizing search ads and exploit new areas like mobile phones, videos and social networking sites. In mid -October Semel told the investors, “With the landscape changing, I am very, very excited about the opportunities for Yahoo.”
