The official Yahoo! search blog reported few days back that Yahoo! is undergoing the process of making some fresh changes in their search results. The blog read, “As usual, you may be seeing some changes in ranking as well as some shuffling of the pages that are included in the index throughout this process.” The update started late on the 18th January and is anticipated to be shortly accomplished.

However, the feedbacks to this post have not been exactly amicable and favorable. One of the feedback stated, “I have always stuck up for Yahoo Search, but with no response from Yahoo as to why they have replaced so many site titles with made up titles I am quickly losing some respect. If it is a glitch, let us know, but don't ignore us when we inquire about it.” Wondering if this entry received a reply? Well! No it didn't. Another feedback questions, “I would also like to know the explanation behind the lowercase titles. There are threads on webmasterworld and elsewhere about it, but no official response yet…?”

Let us wait and watch what Yahoo! says regarding all the grievances. At times like these one realises how much difference Matt Cutts and Adam Lasnik make for Google. The search engine giant have had its share of issues to deal with. But when it comes to communicating with customers or addressing grievances, Google has only impressed.
