Yahoo! has mentioned of the upcoming index update via their blog

“We'll be rolling out some changes to our crawling, indexing and ranking algorithms over the next few days and expect the update will be completed soon. As you know, throughout this process you may see some ranking changes and page shuffling in the index.”

Yahoo! had made these announcements in the past also!

Therefore, if you witness any kind of strange ranking changes or some strange fluctuations as far as the rankings are concerned , then I would recommend that you should not get all worked up.
