We had been anticipating an update in Yahoo! Search for the last few days. In fact, Yahoo! had itself caused these speculations by making the following announcement:

“Over the next few days, we'll be rolling out some changes to our crawling, indexing and ranking algorithms. While we expect the update will be completed soon, as you know, throughout this process you may see some ranking changes and page shuffling in the index.”

So, it is natural that people are expecting an alteration in the rankings and at the same time, hoping against the same. Hopefully, even if there are some ranking changes, things will eventually settle down. As of now, no news of any changes whatsoever.
